My YaYa girlfriends kidnapped me last year for a beach getaway after my husband died. Sadly, another of us lost her husband this past year, and we did the same for her. This house is perfect for nesting - beautifully decorated, laid out (even a primary suite of the first floor for one less mobile), every kitchen supply one could want. We could cook and eat and talk all in the big space yet each had our own private space too. Short walk to downtown Manzanita for delightful shops (and margarita's!). We plan to come back every year, hopefully not just for healing.

We loved this house it was so organized, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the layout is perfect for a family. Short walk to the beach and kitty corner to the park. About two blocks from all the fun of downtown. We will stay here again! My favorite house we have booked In Manzanita and we come here every few years. This is our new Favorite place to stay!!!!

We loved Short Walks! It's a wonderful home that is close to the beach and restaurants/shopping. The house is loaded with amenities and is very comfortable. Would definitely book again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We have rented many homes in Manzanita over the last 20 years and this is our favorite. We had the space we needed, the location was perfect: city park across the street, the beach was 3 blocks away and the town was 3 blocks away.

This house worked out beautifully for our annual friends gathering. The rooms were spaced out nicely, and the kitchen was impressively stocked for our home cooked meals. We enjoyed the short walks to the beach with the added bonus that the house provided beach chairs and a wagon to haul children. If you are looking for a house with enough space for families to spread out, a backyard to have picnic lunches, and a beautiful evening view on the golf course, this house will be a perfect fit. We look forward to returning to Manzanita, Oregon.

This was a delightful property: a pristine home with four bedrooms, three baths, with individual thermostats in each comfortable bedroom and each bathroom. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I had ever encountered in a rental property. The tasteful artwork throughout the house added to its comfortable coziness. The living room, with its electric fireplace and comfortable couches, was perfect for after-dinner conversation. Due to the weather, we were unable to make use of the fire pit outside, but in summer weather this should definitely be a plus, along with the backyard grill. The location of the home is such that it's within easy walking distance of favorite shops and restaurants on Laneda Ave., and the beach is wonderful for long walks with beautiful vistas. This is a premium property that offers guests an exceptional Oregon coast experience.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay in Manzanita! The house was pristine, the art work was wonderful, and all of us agreed that we'd never seen such a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all appreciated the fact that there were thermostats in each bedroom and bathroom for maximum comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours quietly reading on the futon in the room tucked off the hallway. Although the weather was not conducive to using the fire pit, the grounds were lovely, and I'm sure would be perfect for summer use. The location was also superb for walking to and from favorite shops and restaurants on Laneda, and for enjoying a long walk on the beach. Even the neighbors were friendly and welcoming! We would all come back in a minute!

This house was absolutely amazing. So beautifully decorated and so comfortable. One of the best places I have ever stayed as far as cooking away from home. Peaceful with beautiful views of the golf course. Very aptly named “short walks”. A very short walk by a lovely park (about 2 blocks) to get to the beach and also only a short walk (again a few blocks) to town.
