The bathtub could really use a bath mat. I was very afraid of slipping.

Great beach cottage

This house was perfect for our family of 5. We were not 'home' much during our stay, but found the home clean and very nicely located a short walk to the 'main street' shops, beach, and across from a city park with a nice playground, tennis, and pickleball courts. There are numerous games, books, DVDs and 4 or 5 modern tennis rackets. The kitchen was well equipped and had a few basic spices. The managers were responsive and we found new box fans awaiting our arrival during a heatwave. Luckily the weather cooled the first night and open windows were perfect the rest of the week. The two larger beds are memory foam-style mattresses, which we found comfortable. We would have happily stayed here the rest of the summer and would visit again.

This property is located perfectly on an end road with amazing access to the beach. My family and I especially appreciated how quiet and private this condo felt as well as how BIG the kitchen was. The bedroom loft upstairs was perfect with a second bathroom and the rooms were decorated so cute. Definitely will stay here again.

We really appreciated this family-friendly rental. It's well stocked with books, games, DVDs, and toys for the kids and family. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. The bedroom setup is great for a family of 4 or more. The beach is really just a quick walk down the street, as is downtown stores and restaurants. Thanks for a fun weekend!

We had a lovely time at this cottage. The house was immaculately clean, very well equipped, came with instructions on how to use the TV etc., and had the largest video selection I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental! Easy walk to the ocean and a peaceful treed park across the street that provided deer and bird watching from the deck. Check out the nice little shops in town, especially the great bookstore, and the Friday farmers market.

The house was great! Very clean and the perfect amount of space for my family. There was a huge DVD selection, lots of books to read, and toys for my children to play with. The kitchen and dining room are spacious. The beach is just a few minutes down the road from the house and there is a park across the street.

The Driftwood Cottage was everything we hoped for! Clean, comfortable , within walking distance of the center of town and the beach! The bed was comfortable , the kitchen open and airy- a great place to relax! It provided a comfortable home base for us to adventure from. Instructions were clear and easy to follow ! Amazing beach cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Driftwood Cottage! The cottage is very clean and well appointed, with everything you need to cook daily meals, books and toys for the kids, movies for evenings or rainy days, beach toys, towels and chairs. It is only a block and a half from a gorgeous beach. We would walk in bare feet multiple times a day to enjoy the beach or walk three blocks to town. We loved Manzanita - quiet and laid back with a great little market and some nice restaurants and shops. Oh and the house is also across the street from a playground and tennis courts! We would definitely recommend the Driftwood Cottage!

Our Home Away From Home

Our family has rented this truly wonderful home for about a week at a time during the summer months since about the mid 1990's. We hadn't been in about 6 years and our recent stay found it just the same perfect place for us. It's full of amenities and only 1.5 blocks from the beach as well as just down the street from the city park with a tennis court. While there, I got some fantastic shots of sunsets on the beach and my son and I hiked up Neahkahnie Mountain and over to Cape Falcon to take in the beautiful views.This well furnished home is just the right place for us to relax a short time in the summers.

Great place by the beach

This was a cozy cottage for my husband, three year old son, and I for the weekend. It has a great set up, plenty of room, light, and we were pleasantly surprised by all the books, movies, games, and toys (which my son loved). It's a brief walk to the beach and to downtown and a short drive to area towns and Oswald West State Park to hike I'd highly recommend it!

This cottage is clean, cozy and well stocked. The ocean is visible from the driveway and a quick block and a half walk down the quiet road. Restaurants and shops of downtown Manzanita are a few blocks away as well and there's a playground for the kids across the street.
The wood stove, DVD, toy and game collections will make things comfortable on those rainy days if you are stuck inside.
