Rise and shine in this gloriously sunny cottage and step right down the street to a coffee shop with delicious muffins and bagels. You’re just one block from town at Ava’s Sunny Delight, and just four level blocks to the beach. Skylights and large windows let in the light and there’s a wrap-around deck for barbecues, so it’s easy to enjoy the ocean light and air. Cheery furnishings and decor, a Dura-Flame fireplace and a TV/DVD keep the inside mood bright in the main floor great room. A dining table that seats six and a fully equipped kitchen give you dining options aside from all the restaurants in Manzanita. There’s a queen bedroom on the main floor and two bright and spacious bedrooms upstairs thanks to skylights under the eaves. You have many options for fun on foot—walking to miles of sandy beach, visiting the city park or strolling through the shops on Laneda. A quick car ride takes you to kayaking in Garibaldi, mountain-climbing on Neahkahnie or gallery-hopping in Cannon Beach. What could be better than a cheerful stay in Ava’s Sunny Delight?

Great place to stay with children & teens. Beach is gorgeous especially at night under the stars. Only thing we needed to be thoughtful about was what appliances/electrical was plugged in & being used as it kept triggering the breakers in the house. Property manager was responsive to our call for help. Thanks so much!

We were 6 Adults staying in this lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom rental in Manzanita, OR. We all agreed it was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in. It was clean, attractive, comfortable and had everything we needed. Except a hairdryer, which they immediately delivered when we asked for one. It was quiet and only a short walk from Main Street and the ocean. We we're very impressed with Meredith's attention to us. We felt taken care of. We all said we would rent this house again, and other Meredith properties. Thanks for a very relaxing vacation. Dianna

Probably the nicest home we have stayed in at this price point. Very clean and everything in working order. Short stroll to shops and restaurants as well as to the beach entrance.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect. Kitchen well stocked, the house was very comfortable and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet. It was just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Couldn't have asked for more.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home. Bright and welcoming coastal and sunflower decor. Nice to have a main level bed and connecting bath, with two more bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook there. Also handy to have a washer/dryer to keep up with beach towels, etc. A lovely place to stay, only four easy walkable blocks from the beach.

Meredith Lodging was recommended by a family member who had previously stayed in Manzanita, OR. We absolutely loved our 4 nights at Ava's Sunny Delight. A cute little house in a quiet neighborhood, everything was clean and welcoming and convenient, I simply don't have a single complaint. Our favorite part was having Manzanita News & Espresso literally on the same block--(great coffee!), and the main street with all its attractions just steps away. We will definitely be back and hope to book some more vacation time at a different location.

It was clean and had everything we needed all within a very short walk to restaurants and coffee. It was less than a mile to the beach and a quick walk down through the main part of town. It’s not the fanciest, most high tech modern place but it was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. The price was extremely reasonable, thank you. In my mind this place was a high value!

Spring Break in Manzanita

We had a great experience at this quaint little home. It fit our family pretty well. It was nice to have the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We have 4 kids and we doubled up in the rooms, but it was nice. It was quick and easy access to all the places we wanted to visit.

Great retreat
It was a great retreat after meetings. Quick access to the beach and a block away from the action in manzanita. I would rent this house again.
