We
appreciate your considering this agency regarding renting a private
home for your visit to Manzanita. By choosing a private home you are
accepting additional responsibility that you would not incur in a Hotel
room. Additional charges will be assessed for not following policies
in regards to Cleaning, Laundry and Garbage.
Policies
1. Smoking Policy: Smoking is NOT allowed in any of our
homes.
2. Our homes are fully furnished and include linens and
basic cookware. We do not provide kleenex, paper towels or napkins.
Please bring your own beach towels and bar of soap for bathing. Most
homes have cable TV and phones unless otherwise noted. Firewood is generally
not provided.
3. Check-In/Check-Out: Check-In time: 4:00 p.m. (may be
delayed due to high occupancy). Check-Out time: 11:00 a.m.
4. Occupancy and Car Limits Policy: Maximum occupancy (which
includes children) and car limits are non-negotiable. If guests exceed
the limits, you will be asked to leave and you will not receive a refund.
Courtesy and respect for your neighbors must be observed at all times.
5. All of our homes have a two night minimum, except holidays
which vary. Winter rates apply from October 1 through April 30. Stay
seven nights and get the seventh night FREE. A one week minimum is required
July through Labor Day (some exceptions apply).
6. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 60 days prior
to reservation are subject to a $50.00 Processing Fee. Cancellations
made within 60 days are subject to half the cost of the reservation.
Cancellations made within 30 days are subject to the ENTIRE COST $100
rebooking fee required at check-out for prime season and future dates
of 6 months applies to the reservation but is non-refundable. (Loss
determined by ability to re-rent) There are no refunds for a shortened
stay.
7. Pet Policy: Some homes allow pets. The pet fee is $15
per night/per pet. Pet limits vary by house. Our No Pet homes do not
allow pets anywhere on or about the premises.
8. Return Check Fee: There will be a $50.00 charge on all
returned checks.
9. Manzanita Rental Company: will not make refunds due
to mechanical failure. MRC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
We rent to adults only. No teen or college parties allowed. Violators
will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. Prices are subject
to change without notice. We require HALF the cost of the rental to
confirm the reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
10. Security Deposit: All homes require a security deposit of
$250.00 The security deposit may be in the form of a money order or
held on your visa until the home is checked following your departure.
The deposit is totally refundable PROVIDING there is No Damage, Missing
Inventory, Excessive Cleaning, Laundry or Garbage.
11. Cleaning: You will be staying in a private home. The cleaning
fee charged prepares the home for your arrival. Upon departure leave
the entire house neat and tidy,the kitchen wiped down (including appliances),dishes
washed. Remove all food from the refrigerator and take all garbage,
paper and debris to the outside cans.
12. Laundry: Complete all house sheets and towels except for
one load in the washer and one in the dryer. DO NOT OVERLOAD! (Additional
Fees Assessed)

of
the home, during your stay and upon departure, you will assist in keeping
future costs
to a minimum for your future visits to Manzanita.
